Many companies get a bit carried away with wanting their website to make them look like a hugely successful national company. They often lose sight of the fact that for some people this would actually put them off fearing that they may not get a good service and that your prices may be higher than a smaller company. I personally believe that they needs to be a right balance and that balance if different for every business.

Some business get a lot of trade from promoting the fact that they are a local family run business where as others actually attract customers by having built up their brand and becoming well established. Ideally you do not want to try and make out you are something you are not, if you offer a quality service at a reasonable price then that will often mean a lot more to a customer than how many employee’s and branches you have.
